The Resurrection Band (also known as Rez Band and REZ) is popularly regarded as one of the most influential and pioneering Christian Rock bands in hisory, spanning an existence lasting almost 30 years. They formed during the height of the Jesus Movement of the late '60s and early '70s, and is comprised by guitarist Glenn Kaiser, guitarist/keyboard player Stu Heiss, bassist Roy Montroy, drummer John Herrin, and led by both Glenn and Wendi Kaiser on vocals. The band, which played hard rock with both blues and metal overtones, was also integral to the founding of the urban Christian community and ministry in Chicago, Jesus People USA.
