Skot and
his beautiful wife Rachel moved to the Jesus
People USA community in 1997. Being in a fertile environment
for all things artistic, Skot's art and music tendencies were
able to grow into fully realized visions. While working by
day as the community's driver, by night he and friend Daniel
soon joined efforts to form Leper. They performed at Cornerstone
Festivals, played many regional venues, and produced three
independently released albums between 1997 and 2003. In 2004,
they were welcomed to Grrr
Records, Jesus People's in-house record label. Grrr released
a compilation CD of songs from the first three recordings,
which are now out-of-print, entitled nameless,
and in early 2005 released the full-length studio project
Kreischen.
Shortly thereafter, Dan answered another calling and departed
Jesus People and Leper. Skot continued with Kenny stepping
in to take over bass, and they are currently booking tours
and working on new material.
