News

10.01.06 Tour dates are shaping up for this fall, particularly the end of this month, so if you're between the midwest and east coast, check out some shows. The Goth Gathering in Maryland had to cancel, but some fine folks in North Carolina have taken up the burden and are putting on Haven X Obscurum in Charlottle. That's going to be great. We're still trying to work out an appearance at the Harvest Gathering in Asheville, NC the next day, and we'll update the shows page with that when and if it's confirmed. Until then....

6.08.06 we've decided to put off the tour until october. thanks for checking by. keep watching the shows page for updates.

5.26.06 hey all we're still looking for east coast shows for the tour. if you'd like to host a show let us know. we'll see you at the show tomorrow!

5.3.06 As you see we're scheduled to play at the Gathering goth night at the Belmont/Clark area (Chicago). Come hang with us, check out the bands, and help raise some money for a good cause. Also, it's looking like we're all but confirmed for the other Gathering in Baltimore. Dave, who runs the Gathering (with his own funds), said the first year they had 40 goth kids come from about as many states. This is the third year and it's grown some. They have a block of rooms available for a discount at a local hotel. So check it out and perhaps we'll see you there.

3.29.06 Some words from Skot about the trip to Arizona, where he and Kenny were for a week in February:

"Well Arizona was a strange place for me - first it was a land of perpetual sunniness which always makes me sad but the Apache kids there on the reservation were a blast once i got over my own sense of shyness. The culture there is pretty much the same as anywhere else, typical kids with not a lot of money & more interested in their favorite rock star than heritage. We more or less just had an open rehearsal instead of a show and then the rest of the week we hung out & taught them to play instruments, which was worth the trip."

3.28.06 Check us out at myspace. Thanks to our friend Chris we have a new and improved look. myspace.com/lepergoth

3.8.06 We're currently booking shows for a tour out east in mid-July. If you know of a good venue or church in your area, please contact us!

3.7.06 Wanna see some of our lyrics? We just posted some up under "Sounds".

2.10.06 We had this great opportunity come up to work with some youth on a reservation in Arizona with a ministry called Hope in Transit. They have been working for a couple years now with native young people by teaching music and having different groups and individuals help also. So we are flying down February 19th to 24th to help and we're really excited about it. We'll post some stories when we return.

Thanks to a very economical and convoluted flight, we'll be in four different cities within 12 hours (overnight) when we return. Then that night we play at a Goth Fest in Berwyn. We should be feeling appropriately undead at that point. Come hang with us at the Nite Light and see the other bands too. Check out our shows page for all the details.

1.26.06 Once again, some more minor changes: there is now a contact page for us that you'll find a link for at the bottom of each page. Also, there are some new-ish products of ours up on the Grrr Store. These are things that we've had with us at shows, but were not put on the site until now (a sticker and one of the t-shirts). We plan to have some new stuff before Cornerstone Festival in July so keep in touch.

1.23.06 Finally we've made some minor but necessary changes to the site. We hope you find it to be operating well. Let us know if not.

1.11.06 Greetings all who lurk. We're booking shows into this new year - mostly local until Cornerstone Festival in July, then we'll be on tour out east for a couple weeks (about July 12-26). If you know of a good venue or are interested in promoting a show in your area, let us know. You can also contact our booking agent at 773.329.5439.

We have a change in the band as Jobie is departing - we'll miss ya man. He plans to join up with the Psalters that merry band of ministering minstrels in a bus on a mission. We wish him the best.

The idea of a new website has not gone away. We're at the mercy of a very busy artist, and until they are able, we will be here. It is on the horizon though. Check out our shows page, and come out to one. We'll see ya there.

5.1.05 Welcome! This site is now very nearly accurate. Just in time to be replaced with the New and Improved Leper Website, Coming Soon to a Computer Near You! Stay tuned, and even more importantly, send in your suggestions. Let me know what you wish this site told you and I will make sure it is included in the forthcoming design. In the meanwhile, enjoy the site knowing that good things are happening with Leper.

3.17.05 Welcome to our site. We're mostly alive, partly undead, but most of all glad you're here. We're currently working on a new project (due for release in early summer), also working on getting the site updated and booking more shows than ever.

Times change and so must we. In recent months, our long-time bassist Dan Feldstein has moved on to play with The Skull. Don't miss the chance to see them, they're awesome. Though we will certainly miss Dan's contribution, we are excited to welcome Kenny Dail to the band. Check out our Dates page to see where we'll be. If you'd like to contact us, you can email us . All for now.
