11.22.05 Shalom all the friends in SEEDS and at JPUSA. There is so much to thank you for and to praise God for that with the little time I have it's very hard to do. Statistics say man uses 12,000 words a day. Seems I have only warmest feelings of appreciation left for Seeds. My words and my voice too were used up back in October. ;-)

I loved your music and I love you. Some people said, "We don't like rock, but we love Seeds!" I like rock and I love Seeds. Not just as a band, but as individuals. You are great and Jesus is Great in you. It was seen while you were on the stage, or when you shared one on one with Israelis, or when you dealt with issues "in the camp". You touched so many lives while in Israel. Believers in my congregation were encouraged, built up and directed to Jesus. You brought joy and freshness of the Lord into our fellowship. They/We love you. Come back!!!

You were one of the most powerful tools in God's hands at Beresheet festival to shine and share the Messiah Yeshua with many. Thank you for willing to play when you didn't feel like and ministering out of God's strength when you were totally exhausted. THANK YOU! You helped many to see not a religious way to Jesus. And you didn't take that smoke in Kfar Phanan [the last stage at Beresheet] on the last night. HA, HA ...

Some, like Tom (see John 20:25) ask if it was worth for Seeds to come. NO DOUBTS, YES! Some guys never heard the Message or never knew that there is a congregation in Kfar Saba. But after that rooftop concert they knew. Thank you Seeds and those who helped them to come. Actually, it is never Seeds alone. There were many that prayed, gave and supported in various ways. Thank you all. Thank you Lena and Carolyn, thank you James and Nate. Borre keep yourself warm in that Norwegian snow. Toda Raba!!!

Do you all remember those kids (teenagers), fans of yours, that went after you and always were drawn to you. God's love was at work. And will continue to be .... You opened your hearts, people opened theirs. Gospel went forth.

Oh, crazy Scott! People are still pondering who was that guy. He was very hmm interesting. The spin on your back with guitar in your hands on the stage in Pavilion. Huh! that's hot. Where else can you see it. And even that was for Jesus. You are fully ganuv for Yeshua.

You are all precious and it's great you came. Thank you. Chris, how can you drink that root beer? Or those sweets you bought that night after the show at Beit Esther. Idolikehamburgers.

Your trip was of God and for His Kingdom. The Body was encouraged and challenged. Non-believers were touched and showed the Way. Israel was and is blessed by your coming. God was glorified and Jesus was lifted up. That's what counts. And the full impact we will know only THEN ... that sweet word Eternity. Then.

Much love and blessings. Hummus will come later as an attachment. Have a well cooked Thanksgiving turkey. Hugs, hugs, hugs, hugs ... oops sorry. In the name of NEC I would like to thank everyone that what seemed mission impossible was made possible.

11.14.05 I hope you guys had a great last show out in the great state of Michigan. You're gonna be missed so much. Either way though, I had a blast at the last two I got to see. Thank you so much for helping put on such a wonderful show and taking the time to just "hang out" and talk with my buddies and/or family, and I. That's one of the biggest things that separates you guys from the rest of the "Christian" bands out there. It may not seem like such a big of a deal, but it is to the little guys who look up to you (not literally...). I respect what you guys are doing, in the community and with the music so much. Thank you for doing what you do.

Jake in Michigan

11.7.05 I trust your return to Chicago was easy and that you all have recovered from an intense time of ministry in the Land.

The organizing committee of the festival outreaches met yesterday evening and one of the issues which was mentioned as high priority was to send out thank you letters to those who had sacrificially come alongside us to share Messiah's love with His people. The letter will be sent out officially from the National Evangelism Committee in Israel, which functions as the outreach arm of the National Messianic Congregational Leaders Conference. Of course others may want to write their own letters as well, but that letter can be viewed as representative of the Body of Messiah in the Land generally. A BIG thank you! Since I will probably be composing the official letter, you can assume that it will include something like the following:

Personally, it's hard to put into words the depth of my gratitude to God for sending Seeds to minister with us during the Beresheet festival outreach and afterwards; and I assure you that I am not alone. I'm reminded of the Apostle Paul's description of his time of ministry among the Thessalonians:

"Having so fond an affection for you, we were well-pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become very dear to us. For you recall, brethren, our labor and hardship, how working night and day so as not to be a burden to any of you, we proclaimed to you the gospel of God. You are witnesses, and so is God, how devoutly and uprightly and blamelessly we behaved toward you believers..." (I Thes. 2:8-10).

That's how I view your coming to us, and the selfless, devoted way you all sought every opportunity for ministry to believers and non-believers alike. The sense of true brotherhood and love between us was the natural result of your willingness to "impart...also [your] own lives." How could you not become dear to us when your affection and love for us was so evident? All of us on the festival outreach team "are witnesses, and so is God, how devoutly and uprightly and blamelessly [you] behaved toward [us all]". The sacrificial giving of your community ("so as not to be a burden to any of [us]") and the vision of your leadership in making possible your ministry here in the Land made the heavens sing. God was glorified, the Good News of Israel's Messiah was lovingly proclaimed in song, word and deed, His Body was built up, and seeds of eternal life were sown in the Land where The Life "became flesh" and was first revealed.

Yeah, I'd say it was a pretty good trip!

Please convey our deepest thanks and love to all the brethren there, and assure them of our prayers for God's direction, provision, and blessing in your ministry and community.

Special greetings and love to all our dear friends from the Seeds team, and special thanks to your families for sharing you all with us.

Love in our Messiah Yeshua,
Noam (and Joan)

9.14.05 I wanted to let you know that we REALLY enjoyed your show at The Modern Exchange. It was a fun night out for all of us (we all have young children). Your music has been such a blessing! We have many friends that don't know Christ and we think they would enjoy your music and hopefully hear what you're saying. You are in our prayers! God Bless all of you!

8.4.04 THANK YOU FOR COMING TO, WORSHIPING IN AND PERFORMING IN SPOONER, WISCONSIN!!!!!!! Many in town are still talking about how great you soundedand how much joy you spread to those who attended! The most common expressions are: "What a sweet spirit shines from your band!" and "When can they come back?"

7.14.04 We really love Rooted!! All of the songs are great. Gotta love lyrics that give you goose bumps! I don't know which is my favorite 'cause they are all so good, "Free", "Spirit", "Foundations", "Rivers"... Like I said it's hard to say. This CD makes a great gift! 7.6.04 Wow, thanks for making my first Cornerstone an awesome one that I will never forget. I really enjoyed your performance in the Gallery Tent, and I am sorry that I only caught a little bit of the Wednesday evening performance. The song "Who Am I" really stirred something up inside of me and I was very excited to hear it again Sunday afternoon. May God bless your ministry and let you become tools for Him wherever He leads you.

I picked up Rooted along with your two previous cd's - actually three, (including the Glenn Kaiser and Friends) - at Cornerstone NC and wanted to pass along my congrats on a great cd. I'm working on a cd of my own (an amateur self production) and it's like you went right into my brain and took the songs. Not the sound, but the content and context. Wow. Keep it up, love the music and the message. I can't tell you what my favorite is on 'rooted' because it's basically a toss-up between all of them... What Love, Free, and especially Justice, Foundations as well - wow again. Love you guys. I'll put your songs on my internet station on Live365.com/stations/dimmest - The Shepherd Rocks! - as well.

Pete Shoults

your music was wonderful, like always. we enjoyed seeing you at cornerstone, nc. thank you for blessing our lives with fellowship and love. we hope to see you again. love,

Josh & Jahanna Richards

II recently volunteered for Cornerstone NC, and got the privilege to listen to Seeds. Their music was absolutely awesome with a variety of instruments. But what was even more appealing to me were the lyrics. I had to dry my eyes, when leaving due to the passion for Our Savior JESUS CHRIST. It is very evident who is in control of these brothers' and sisters' of mine.

Greg Gettler

:You guys were so great! I had the privilege of seeing you at Cornerstone NC on June 10th (Remember Scott- you gave me your website on a paper towel- thanks!). But you guys were really awesome...I love all of the different instruments you
had. This was my second time seeing you and I definitely want to get your cd. Keep on making beautiful music for Jesus!

Kristin

Seeds, you're awesome, so full of Christ. I listen to your Rooted cd everyday and make up interpreted dance to iit. God is surely with y'all. Keep on playing for Him and spreading the Good news of Salvation.

Buffy

I saw y'all at Cornerstone NC. Your band stuck out to me... it was so different than a lot of other "christian" bands that do little more than allude to their own spirituality... No, this band stuck out. Despite that it was HOT as HADES out there, your lyrics and emotion gave me CHILLS. This is the kind of Christian music that a lot of people have been looking for.

Rachel Alton

"WOW WOW WOW WOW!!! I can't even begin to tell you how awesome i think the CD is! I mean, I'm just about speechless... when i wasn't crying to the songs or dancing and spinning in circles, I was on my face. It's definitely my favorite cd and I can't wait to get the new one! God has blessed y'all with some tremendous talent. I'm so encouraged to see how He's using y'all."

—Allison - Tallahassee, FL

"A friend of mine gave me your PP&S CD after church last Sunday to listen to. WOW! What a breath of fresh air. The guitar work and harmonies were... well... captivating. My wife and I were both really, really blessed as we listened."

—Ken & Renee - Scotland, CT

"In 1999, I shipped out to Great Lakes, Ill. Yes, I had joined the Navy....But I was put into seperations barracks and went to church there and just so happened to see one of the coolest live shows ever. Seeds. I listened only to rap music and never really opened my heart to Jesus Christ, My personal savior (our), UNTIL i saw them play. WOW! They are just amazing and the music touched me in a way that I can't even begin to describe.... I just wanted to let you know how one fan feels about them and also to say THANK YOU."

—Garry

"...The other thing I really wanted to mention was the Seeds CD. WHOA! I drove to New Orleans and I had that playing all the way down and all the way back, brutha! What a huge blessing that stuff was, it reminded me of the early days of my faith, when I was led to the Lord by hippie Christians who listened to Dylan and CSN all day. You really captured that timeless sound so well. And for the kind of mission field I work on, the high level of Biblical content always gets a big positive reaction over slick production values, so I know that that kind of stuff would work great."

—Glen - Chicago, IL

"I had never heard of Seeds until last June when some young people from the youth group and myself went to see Headnoise. Scott was with them and he lead worship at the end of the show and it was awesome. Well since then I have heard some songs by Seeds and I must say that it is so worshipful it's amazing. The Lord has truly blessed all of you as well as myself with your music. Thank you...."

—Jerry - St. Marys, OH
